Books are identified by ISBN and annotated page by page. Every edition is treated separately, so "page 128 of the third edition" never drifts. Kindle locations, percentage and whole-book notes are supported too.
YouTube, Niconico and Vimeo. "The steps at 12:34 no longer work on the current version" can be left at exactly that timestamp.
Speaker Deck and Docswell. Write the remark that belongs inside the deck — "slide 17 is where the real subject starts".
Corrections and added context cost the writer effort and are worth a great deal to the reader. Tipping sends value back to them: creators receive 90% of every tip.
